Times Of Grace, the Massachusetts metalcore outfit featuring current and former members of Killswitch Engage, is set to embark on a trek across Europe before returning to its home continent July 5 for the Illuminato[u]r. On the North American tour, Times Of Grace will serve as main support for Underoath, while also making a few headlining stops of its own.

For all of the tour dates, which run through mid-August, Times Of Grace will be joined on bass by Shadows Fall guitarist, Matt Bachand. Bachand is filling in for Daniel Struble, who normally tours with the group but can’t make the trip for personal reasons. As far as replacements go, this one seems seamless—Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall spawned in the early ’00s and have toured together multiple times. All parties involved are fans of each other’s work.

Times Of Grace was formed when Killswitch guitarist, drummer and producer, Adam Duktiewicz, was sidelined with a severe back injury on the band’s 2007 tour. Though cut off from his primary musical outlet, Duktiewicz spent his time in the hospital dreaming up riffs and melodies in his head, and once he got home, he sang these ideas into a tape recorder. In 2008, he invited former Killswitch frontman, Jesse Leach, to sing on what would become Times Of Grace’s debut record. The Hymn Of A Broken Man, which tells the story of Duktiewicz’s recovery, was released on Roadrunner, this past January.
