To warm up during the coldest winter months (for some cities, anyway) Thee Oh Sees will set sail on a tour across America. The San Francisco four-piece will start its tour February 17 at the Larimer Lounge in Denver, CO before (literally) cruising around Miami, FL between February 25 and 28 with Surfer Blood, the Black Lips, Vivian Girls, Ty Segall, Turbo Fruits and more for what will most likely become the ‘infamous’ Bruise Cruise. The group will continue its travels throughout the winter, and end its voyage on March 25 in sunny Los Angeles at the Center For The Arts.

Thee Oh Sees began in the early 2000s when guitarist John Dwyer (an active member of California’s indie-rock scene since the late ’90s) formed an experimental vehicle and named it the OCS. Eventually, the OCS evolved into Thee Oh Sees, with Dwyer on guitar, Brigid Dawson on vocals, Petey Dammit on bass, and Mike Shoun on drums. Thee Oh Sees offers a warm summery sound, as demonstrated in the video for “Meat Step Lively” below.
