Psychedelic Aussie outfit Tame Impala has announced North American tour dates for this spring with the diverse lo-fi band Yuck as its supporting act. The Perth natives will also play as part of Coachella’s 2011 lineup, alongside the likes of Cold War Kids, Robyn and the Chemical Brothers on the first day of the festival.



The three-piece made its full-length debut with Innerspeaker last year, which made numerous Album Of The Year lists and received recognition from Diplo and the the Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne. The upcoming tour marks the group’s last before heading back to Australia to record its second album.



The tour begins with Coachella is mid-April, and lasts through early May with dates in both the US and Canada.
