Despite fears that its name would hurt chances of commercial success, the psychedelic pop group STRFKR, nee Starfucker, has announced a number of shows in North America to follow up a successful tour for itssophomore album Reptilians earlier this year. The upcoming tour begins June 20 in Pullman, WA and will take the Portland natives to several summer music festivals, including Bumbershoot in Seattle and Outside Lands in San Francisco. STRFKR also released a music video for their 2010 single “Julius” last month, a nostalgic and MGMT-like clip directed by Jason Miller.
