Minneapolis-based MC and founding member of Doomtree, Sims, has premiered the video for “One Dimensional Man.” The track is from his recently released sophomore effort, Bad Time Zoo. The album was produced entirely by Lazerbreak, a fellow artist on Doomtree. The album has been receiving excellent attention amongst the college radio world seeing as it landed in our No. 1 spot on the hip-hop charts this past week.



The video is almost an exact representation of the song’s lyrics, bashing all of those smug hybrid drivers and organic-food purchasers out in the world. Starting with a spot on corporate promotional video satire, the song’s pounding, march-like drumbeat takes over as Sims chastises those who are so self-rewarding and privileged. Apparently he could be included in this category. The Doomtree website acknowledges that Sims does in fact drive a hybrid car.



Sims is hitting the road for a massive U.S. tour this month, including a strong presence at SXSW. Check out all of the tour dates below.
