After playing a rare string of North American tour dates this summer—including a stop at the Prospect Park BandshellSigur Rós is coming back for more. The band has announced an extensive series of North American dates that includes a stop at Madison Square Garden and three separate shows in Texas. The veteran post-rock group recently debuted the song “Brennisteinn” at the Iceland Airwaves festival, so there’s a good chance the tour will feature new songs along with tracks from 2012′s Valtari.
 
The group is also still at work on its Mystery Film Experiment project, today debuting a lyrical short film featuring the tracks “Ekki Múkk”, “Valtari”, “Rembihnútur” and “Varúð.” You can watch the video, via Nowness, below.
