Brooklyn songstress Sharon Van Etten has announced the release of Tramp, her third LP and first for Jagjaguwar, due out on February 7. The record follows last year’s subtly intricate and critically acclaimed Epic, expanding on Van Etten’s signature hushed and heartfelt rasp and folky guitar work.

Tramp was recorded in scattered sessions over a period of 14 months in which Van Etten was without a home, crashing with friends including the National’s Aaron Dessner, who let her record in his garage studio.

The well-connected Van Etten, who has collaborated with the likes of Bon Iver and Megafaun on the Songs Of The South project, as well as Ed Askew, the Antlers and others, has a slew of her own guests on Tramp, including members of Walkmen, Beirut, Wye Oak, the National and Julianna Barwick.

In support of the release, Van Etten will tour North America with Shearwater this winter and the War On Drugs this spring. A list of tour dates is below.
