For the first time in their history, the Rolling Stones will play the Glastonbury Festival. The British rock ’n’ roll legends will headline Saturday night of the 2013 festival, held June 28-30 in the Glastonbury town in Somerset, England. Friday and Sunday night duties will be handled by fellow countrymen Mumford And Sons and Arctic Monkeys. This year’s edition will be the first since 2011 after it was suspended last summer due to the London Olympics.

Other U.K. legends joining the Stones at Worthy Farm will be Dizzee Rascal, Primal Scream, Elvis Costello, Portishead as well as newer stars of the Empire such as the xx, Fuck Buttons, Palma Violets, James Blake, Disclosure, the Horrors, Alt-J, Frightened Rabbit and SBTRKT. Other acts of note from around the globe include Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, Nas, disco powerhouse Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Phoenix, Australia’s Tame Impala, the sisters of Haim, Alabama Shakes, Dinosaur Jr., Tom Tom Club, Cat Power, Solange, Local Natives, Charles Bradley and freak-folker Devendra Banhart.
