The forces of darkness are teaming up for a summer North American tour that is sure to melt faces and break hearts. Slayer and Rob Zombie are co-headlining a dozen-date arena tour. Thrash-metal band Exodus will open all shows.

Both Slayer and Zombie will include songs from their extensive catalogs on these dates. Slayer’s recent tour has featured the band playing its Seasons In The Abyss release from 1990 in full. Guitarist Jeff Hanneman had to drop out of several of the group’s Australian dates in February for Seasons due to necrotizing fasciitis, aka “flesh-eating disease.” That’s so metal.
