The Vampire Weekend-ish indie chamber poppers from Ra Ra Riot have added tour dates that will keep the group on the road through November. Last summer, the Syracuse-formed band released its sophomore album, The Orchard, after taking to Penn Yan, NY, to create the record. This year, Ra Ra Riot plans to hit Japan for the Fuji Rock Festival, East Hampton, NY, for the Music To Know Festival and myriad cities across the U.S. and Canada. Presale tickets for the band’s tour are available today, July 20, and include a poster signed by the bandmates. Check below for tour dates.


Ra Ra Riot has not announced any plans for an album release, but bassist Mathieu Santos has a solo album coming out August 2. Santos and the band debuted the LP, titled Massachusetts 2010, on Turntable.fm, one of the latest work-productivity-sucking destinations, and the fan swell managed to crash the site momentarily. Guess it went over better than Diplo’s jams.
