In a match made in some perilous and collaboration-filled music blog heaven, mysterious synth-dread conjurers Purity Ring have teamed up with Detroit weirdo-rap innovator Danny Brown to release “Belispeak II,” a sequel of sorts to the Canadian duo’s Shrines stand-out “Belispeak”. It works better than you’d think, with Brown’s intense, rapid-fire delivery finding a welcome home amidst all the twinkling electro squiggles and surprisingly volatile beats. Check it out, below.

Purity Ring will bring their shrouded, doom-soaked show on the road this January with a string of dates starting in Montreal and ending in Toronto. The pair will be joined by CMJ 2012 Marathon performers Young Magic.
