American bass dwellers, now’s the time to get psyched, as two of your genre’s biggest proponents—Pearson Sound/Ramadanman and Zed Bias a.k.a. Maddslinky—will be lugging their music around a North American club (hopefully) near you. The April tour acts as the Stateside welcome of the fifty-sixth installment in the Fabriclive series, as helmed by Pearson Sound (otherwise known as Ramandanman, otherwise known as David Kennedy). The forthcoming 30-track compilation features a large chunk of Kennedy’s cuts, perhaps indicative of what he might play when he gets over here.
The innocent-faced producer isn’t the only industrious one of the pair, as Zed Bias/Maddslinky/Dave Jones augments his grind of singles with a full-length. The album is set for release on UK label Tru Thoughts later this year, and features input from household dubstep name (or as household as dubstep gets, anyway) Skream and Mark Pritchard a.k.a. Harmonic 313 a.k.a one half of Africa Hi-Tek a.k.a all of these a.k.a’s are dizzying.
Kennedy and Jones will be joined by Salva, Distal, Moldy, DJG and XI on select dates, with the shows currently locked in listed below. More will be announced soon.
