The charmer of the Pacific North West, Fleet Foxes, is enthralling radio for the second week in a row, landing once again at No. 1 at both Radio 200 and Triple A. TV On The Radio is going strong at No. 2 as Panda Bear, the Kills and Tune-Yards round out the top 5.
Toronto’s Austra, whose glamour shot graces the cover of the New Music Report at the moment feels the chart break under it’s incredible leap from No. 195 last week to a startling No. 25 this week. And the very much non-Mancunian Manchester Orchestra isn’t far behind, making its debut at No. 31.
Slug and Ant, the duo that makes up Minneapolis indie hip-hop outfit Atmosphere tosses Del The Funky Homosapien from the top spot at Hip-Hop and funk-jazz outfit Rebirth Brass Band squelches the others at Jazz and takes the genre back to it’s NOLA roots. Femi Kuti, Daft Punk and Anvil hold tight at their respective New World, RPM and Loud Rock spots.
