Cut Copy‘s stay on top was cut short this week because Radiohead is like a total freakin’ rockstar from Mars: The King Of Limbs is No. 1 at Radio 200 and Triple A. The guys behind the Zonoscope will have to be content at No. 2 for the moment. Rounding out the top 5 are EP He Gets Me High by California’s all-girl pop outfit Dum Dum Girls, Conor Oberst’s gut-wrenching latest as Bright Eyes and the second full length from chillwaver Toro Y Moi.
Most of last week’s champs rule once more—Sims at Hip-Hop, Kurt Elling at Jazz, Motorhead and Cut Copy at RPM. But it’s the riot-funk of Los Chicharrons‘ fourth LP, Roots Of Life, that makes a big move from No. 6 to No. 1 at New World. But In the coming weeks expect big things from San Francisco acousto-duo the Dodos, which has strolled onto the scene as most added.
