U.K. duo the Kills is premiering a new video along with the release of its latest single “Future Starts Slow,” due out on iTunes June 28 and on 7-inch vinyl July 19 via Domino. The track, off of the band’s latest studio album Blood Pressures, is beat-heavy and thrives off of the tribal drumming accompanied by Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart’s sing-song vocals.
The video (below) is directed by Philip Andelman and depicts a live performance by the band that captures the energy and chemistry that the Kills embodies. It gives the audience a glimpse into the setting of the band’s live shows, and depicts Mosshart’s powerful role as frontwoman while on stage. It also shows what the band is up to when not performing, taking down time when they step out of the spotlight.
The Kills continues its energetic performance while returning to the stage in the fall during a North American tour, with the tour dates listed below.
