Boston-based composer and electro-musician Dan Deacon is set to release his new full-length album, America, via Domino, on August 28, with a world tour kicking off shortly after. Deacon left his longtime label, Carpark, to join the crew at Domino late last year, resulting in an uncharacteristic three-year gap between albums.

If Deacon’s newly released single, “Lots,” is anything to go by, America will be a continuation of the synth-choral fusion first present on 2009’s critically acclaimed Bromst.
