Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover, Melvins

Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover - Photo by Mackie Osborne

Beginning in September, the ever-so-loud grunge-metal group the Melvins will make an attempt at a Guinness World Record. The band is slated to play in all 50 states plus Washington, D.C., in 51 days–something that has never been done before.

The tour will not only be a first for the record books, but it will also offer a few other firsts for the band, considering that the Melvins have never before played in Alaska, Hawaii, New Hampshire or Delaware.

The tour will feature the lineup referred to as the Melvins Lite, consisting of Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover and Trevor Dunn. Check below to watch a performance from this April of “The War On Wisdom” from Last Call With Carson Daly and to find out when the Melvins will be hitting your state.
