Supporting his appropriately titled release Black City, Matthew Dear continues his tour with dates along the east coast through 2011. Dear will join fellow New Yorkers Interpol on the European leg of its tour beginning in March.
Adding to the success of Dear’s fourth full-length album is Sascha Dive’s remix of “Little People,” off of Black City, landing on January 18. The track will be stretched to over 20 minutes in length and it will be released (accompanied by a shorter version) through Spectral Sound.
The genre-jumping jack-of-all-trades opened for the Tom Tom Club at New York’s Irving Plaza last night, and starts his headlining tour with a DJ set at the Rivington Hotel.
