Georgia instrumental rock outfit Maserati is embarking on a US tour in April, in support of its newest release, the LP Pyramid Of The Sun. The group kicks off its string of dates April 7 in Birmingham, AL and continues right through until the end of the mind, winding up in its hometown of Athens, GA. As you may recall, Maserati tragically lost its drummer Jerry Fuchs (also of !!!) last year, so A.E. Paterra of the band Zombi will be manning the skins for its tour.

Pyramid Of The Sun, the band’s last LP with Fuchs, came out last November via Temporary Residence. It emphasizes the propulsiveness of the decade-strong band, going from groove to groove.
