Showstopping rock pop group Man Man will embark on a North American tour this spring as it finishes its new album, Live Fantastic (Anti). The Philadelphia natives will hit the festival circuit in their 2011 run, making stops at SXSW in March and Bonnaroo in June. The tour begins in March at SXSW and runs through mid-June.
The surrealist influenced group’s music is difficult to fit into one genre, but spans everything form vaudeville and Broadway, to blues and rock with obvious ventures into the experimental. Man Man’s 2008 release, Rabbit Habbits garnered praise for resurrecting the fun element of rock music and was its first release through Anti, having previously released 2004’s The Man In The Blue Turban With A Face and 2006’s Six Demon Bag through Ace Fu.
