Brooklyn-based crossover black metal quartet Liturgy has announced that it will hit the road in July for a month’s worth of shows across the United States. It’s the band’s first stretch in support of its second LP, Aesthethica, which we called “one hell of an album” a couple of months ago.

In celebration of the tour announcement, Liturgy has debuted the live video for “High Gold,” which was recorded at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn in early June. Is it just us, or do the people in the crowd seem oddly placid, given what’s coming out of the speakers in front of them? Come on, guys—you’re listening to metal. Put some bounce into that step.
