Next Tuesday, CMJ 2013 artist Meg Remy, a.k.a. U.S. Girls will release her new EP, Free Advice Column. Continuing with her sonic exploration, Remy delivers dynamic and innovative compositions that result from constant experimental manipulations. To push boundaries a little further, this time she collaborated with Canadian hip-hop producer, Onakabazien who helped bring U.S. Girls’ minimalist aesthetic into a new beat-driven territory.

Before Free Advice Column sees an official release, Remy has made the EP available to stream via Soundcloud. U.S. Girls has a number of east coast shows coming up, including a CMJ Panache Booking Showcase with Yamantaka // Sonic Titan, Jacco Gardner, Saint Rich, Arp, and Slim Twig at the Knitting Factory on October 16. Stream the whole EP (via Brooklyn Vegan) and check out her tour dates below.
