Relatively quiet since their 2010 release, Hidden, These New Puritans’ third release Fields Of Reeds is available to stream now. Their infectious single Fragment Two, which was released earlier this month, left many fans intrigued by their new genre rogues. The usually tagged post-punk London outfit are trekking some new musical territories.

But maybe these territories aren’t very far from home. Fields Of Reeds hosts a very organic and honest sound like words that just sort of roll off the tongue- or muttered off the tongue of vocalist Jack Barnett in his pretty stupor. The album’s melodies rise and fall and rise again like effortless emotional recall. It’s emotive without being coercing. The beautiful composition comes out officially June 10 on Infectious but you can get a feel for it now by listening below.
