Brooklyn’s Nude Beach have shared another single from their upcoming third LP, 77. For You comes equipped with a a bubblegum guitar riff right out of the gate, giving way to a galloping, palm-muted verse. Things get a little darker on the chorus, creating a tension that helps give the song its serious replay value. Taken in conjuction with another 77 album track I Can’t Keep The Tears From Falling (which sounds like somebody snuck into a 1978 Elvis Costello session and turned the distortion on the bass all the way up), For You indicates that this power-trio’s album will be treat.
