Last week alt-country barn-burner Neko Case released a mysterious teaser video for her upcoming album and revealed that the record would have an epic, difficult-to-remember title: The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You. What she didn’t share was a new song. Well, that’s changed today, as Case has released a raucous new song, “Man.” The propulsive track finds the singer repeatedly insisting, “I’m a man,” at one point adding, “I’m a man and not just casually.”

The track also features fellow manly man M. Ward, of She And Him and Monsters Of Folk, on guitar and he gets a few chances to really shred here. In addition to Ward, other songs on the album feature contributions from several artists, including members of Case’s friends the New Pornographers. Case has also released the track list for The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You, which is set to be released September 3 via Anti-. Listen to “Man” and see the list of North American tour dates below.
