Every time a great band reunites (which is hardly uncommon right now) there’s a surge of ticket sales, an undulating wave of nostalgia, and then the sinking fear of disappointment. Yesterday at Toronto’s Riot Fest, the long-awaited, oft-rumoured and barely believable Replacements reunion show happened. The reunion show featured now indie legend-status founders Paul Westerberg and Tommy Stinson along with Josh Freese (of A Perfect Circle and many others) and David Minehan (of Boston’s The Neighborhoods). For most of the planet’s population who weren’t there, Slicing Up Eyeballs has cobbled together fan videos from the show.

But the real fanboy gem: a full stream of the entire set. And hell, if that’s not enough, you can download the entire thing, courtesy of the amazing Live Archive Project. Watch, listen and relish it, below.
