Toronto’s Thomas Mazurkiewicz records under the name Home Alone, and given his music, that’s a pretty apt moniker. It sounds nothing like Macaulay Culkin screaming, but instead like one guy in his bedroom, hiding under the covers as the light from the house next door seeps in through his window and makes him feel less alone. Mazurkiewicz’s new album, There’s A Light Coming Through, drops March 15 via Orchid Tapes, a label that’s good at finding sad, woozy bedroom-pop. Listen to the album’s first single, Interstates And Stuff, below.
