Dale-Earnhardt-Jr.-Jr.-Produce-608x608
Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. likes doing weird things. Like covering things in gold and performing at spooky masquerade balls. But the band is upping the ante by releasing a mixtape called Produce featuring guest appearances from Chuck Inglish, Quelle Chris, and uh, Asher Roth. But the mixtape’s first single is just the Jr. Jr. guys, and it’s a cover of Randy Newman’s 1968 track, I Think It’s Going To Rain Today. It sounds nothing like the dark and brooding original; instead it sounds like DEJJ got ahold of some analog synths and sucked helium for a day. Have a listen below.
