After drawing listeners in with “Miasma Sky,” the raindrop-speckled first single off his upcoming sophomore album Obsidian, Will Wiesenfeld, the moody mastermind behind Baths, has released another track that further lures you into his dark but achingly pretty world. The new track is called “Ironworks,” and instead of feeling sturdy and robust like the title might imply, it’s a careful, murmuring song.

Opening with soft piano and some melancholy strings, it first sounds like Wiesenfeld is saying “Iron Man” in his soft coo of a voice, but once he starts crying out about “Victorian doorways,” it becomes apparent that the moving, peculiar song is more about architecture, less about superheroes.
