CMJ used a number of different venues across the city during CMJ Music Marathon, but few were as spectacular as Terminal 5 at JFK. That’s where JetBlue staged a special Live from T5 event, which took place on October 17.

The show featured sets from a number of artists drawn from the roster of CMJ shows, including JJAMZ, Icona Pop, Matt Sucich and Kate Earl. This was the first time JetBlue had partnered with another company to stage an event of this type, making it a unique addition to both the Live from T5 series and CMJ’s programming.

An exclusive crowd of JetBlue’s ticketed customers and contest winners got to witness the show, which stayed true to CMJ’s ethos of presenting an eclectic array of artists on the same bill. The sounds on offer varied from Sucich’s acoustic alt. country leanings to the pulsating electro oriented grooves of Sweden’s Icona Pop.
