Brooklyn-born electro-pop duo Holy Ghost! announced the release of its self-titled debut (DFA), filled with disco-inspired dance tracks. Out on April 5, Holy Ghost! will feature lead single “Hold On” (streaming below) along with nine other tracks with many surprises.



The duo, Alex Frankel and Nick Millhiser, met at age seven on the Upper West Side of New York City, and have been remixing tracks for artists including N.E.R.D., Moby, and MGMT since 2004. Releasing their first single as Holy Ghost! in 2007, the two have been working on their debut since then, which features special guests such as Luke Jenner from the Rapture and even Michael McDonald.



Touring with LCD Soundsystem last spring, followed by dates with Chromeo through the summer, Holy Ghost! established itself on the dance scene in 2010. They will be performing their self-titled album for the first time on February 2 at the Mercury Lounge in New York City.
