Swedish rock band the Hives will be releasing its fifth album, Lex Hives, June 5 on the band’s own label, Disques Hives. This album marks the return of the quintet, which remained fairly quiet after its 2007 release and tour for The Black And White Album.

Lex Hives is self-produced by the Hives, mixed by Grammy winner Andrew Scheps (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adele) and includes two additional tracks mixed by D. Sardy (Marilyn Manson, Slayer) and Joe Zook (Weezer, Modest Mouse).

Streaming on Rolling Stone right now is the first single off of the album, “Go Right Ahead,” a super catchy track with heavy rock guitar and drumming. Go right ahead and check it out.
