Beyond the showcases, CMJ Music Marathon hosts a daytime conference, and we have our full panel line-up set for 2013. October 15-19, on the verge artists, indie firebrands, new media mavens, and a host of enterprising entrepreneurs from around the globe will convene for five days to engage in one of the year’s most anticipated music/media/technology think tanks.

The conference, headquartered on NYU’s Helen and Martin Kimmel Center on Washington Square Park, will feature a series of more than 80 panels in all. Check here for a list of the panels and their descriptions. New featured panels and events for CMJ Music Marathon 2013 include:

Other event highlights include the Entertainment Business Law Seminar on Friday October 18 featuring Keynote Speaker, David Israelite, President and CEO of the NMPA. The College Radio Mixer on October 15, is a must-attend networking party for all college station personnel. Refreshments and music will be presented courtesy of the New Zealand Music Commission to get attendees all dialed in for College Day (October 17), the for-college-radio, by-college-radio program at CMJ 2013.

And new this year, Serenity Now: Rock and Roll Your Soul Yoga is open for early birds who want to be guided by a top instructor in catching some zen.
