English dance punk band Friendly Fires is returning to North America after just finishing up a successful tour here. The tour will start in October, but the band cannot seem to stay away from this side of the Atlantic for that long and will return in August to play shows at Lollapalooza and Central Park SummerStage.

Friendly Fires’ second album, Pala, was released in May via XL and received great reviews, which have undoubtedly contributed to the band’s recently increased visibility. Ed MacFarlane, Jack Savidge and Edd Gibson, the band’s three members, were featured on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in March and performed “Blue Cassette” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on June 9.
