On Saturday night at the end of a George Clinton show in Cleveland, OH, a man fired shots into the crowd during a fight, wounding three people and killing one. Clinton, who was performing at the Family Unity In The Park Festival, had finished his set before the fight began, and it is unclear how much time elapsed between the fireworks display that followed and the shootings. Cleveland police said that they were unsure if the shooter or the people who were involved in the large fight had been in the crowd during the concert.
Early Sunday morning, a 16-year-old boy who had been shot in the head died after being admitted to a hospital in critical condition. The conditions of the other three victims, a 20-year-old woman who was shot in the neck, a 14-year-old boy with a leg wound and a 23-year-old man who had also obtained a leg wound, are unknown.
