All my American brothers and sisters should check out the current and past lists of artists nominated for the Polaris prize as there are some amazing acts to get to know. Some notables would be Great Lake Swimmers, Patrick Watson, Cold Specks and Arcade Fire. Check them out they're all very good. The lists span many genres so everyone can enjoy it.
