Austin post-rock band Explosion In The Sky has announced a long line of U.S. tour dates for this fall. This comes on the heels of the band’s latest LP, Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, as well as a spring tour that included a sold-out headlining show at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. The quartet is currently touring Europe and will play at Bonnaroo in June, but it starts its headline U.S. tour with a show at Tucson’s Rialto Theatre on September 1.

Explosions has also announced its first show of 2012, which will happen at London’s 4,500-capacity Brixton Academy. It will be the band’s biggest U.K. headline to date.

For a good chunk of the U.S. dates, Explosions will be joined by Baltimore folk-rock duo Wye Oak, whose latest album, Civilian, was released on Merge earlier this year. The opening act should lend a homey contrast to Explosions’ immense, mesmerizing live show.
