The band responsible for the theme song to British teen superhero TV series Misfits—that would be the Rapture—is gearing up to release a new studio album, In The Grace Of Your Love. The upcoming album, due out September 6 on James Murphy‘s DFA, is the Rapture’s first since 2006′s Pieces Of The People We Love and the second since 2003′s Echoes, the one with that song from Misfits. The band already released a single from In The Grace Of Your Love called “How Deep Is Your Love?” as well as a remix of the song by Emperor Machine.

Starting in September, the Rapture will be heading coast to coast across the U.S. Better yet, the tour ends on the most important day of all time, especially considering the band’s name: Judgment Day. On October 21, 2011, the Rapture will close out its tour and the history of this prolific dustmote of a planet where anyone would want to experience the Apocalypse: Philadelphia, PA.
