As the winter comes to a close, Destroyer, the brainchild of Vancouver’s prolific singer-songwriter and part-time New Pornographer Dan Bejar, will take to the road for a tour of the US and Canada in support of its upcoming album Kaputt (Merge). The album, the band’s ninth (and fifth on Merge), will be released on January 25.

And there’s a new video for “Kaputt,” the first single off Kaputt. In addition to showcasing Bejar’s lyrical dexterity and that distinguishable lilt in his voice, it stars a slick ’80s nerd and some whales.
