The Brooklyn transplants and Aussie expats from Death Set have announced a string of tour dates in support of the recently released and critically loved album Michel Poiccard (Counter). North American crowds, be ready to allow sub bass to loosen your bowels while screeching guitars fuck your ears.

While the acclaim that Michel Poiccard is receiving is accurate and should inspire people to go check it out, the live show is where Death Set really makes a name for itself. Back when the group lived in Baltimore, it was known for dirty, rowdy warehouse shows in a DIY scene the group essentially birthed—without anesthesia. Even though Death Set’s fancy now and graduated up to larger venues with nicer sound systems and bathrooms with running water, recent performances in Europe and at SXSW show the career growth has done nothing to stifle the band’s energy. Joining the cross country bro’d trip (see what I did there?) will be Vice’s newest sweethearts, Win Win.

Michel Poiccard’s CD release party is tomorrow (03/26) at Music Hall Of Williamsburg. Ninjasonik and Spank Rock will also be gracing the stage. What more could the Ritalin-chewing, whiskey-guzzling child within all of us ask for? The rest of the tour dates are listed below. Also, watch the video and take notes.
