Deaf Wish’s St. Vincent’s is a heavy guitar-punk jam for the ages. The tune has the ferocious attitude of The Pretenders’s Precious, coupled with the blistering bombast of Screaming Females at their loudest. Sub Pop has just announced their plans to release St. Vincent’s, along with three other tunes, via 7-inch vinyl LP and digital download on October 6 in the U.K. and October 7 in the U.S. Although the fiery Melbourne punk band has three LPs under its belt, this 7-inch will mark their first of (hopefully many) releases in the U.S. The band will also bring their famously chaotic live show to North America in the fall, immediately after a hometown blowout at Melbourne’s John Curtin Hotel. Check out the tune and the band’s fall tour dates below.
