Experimental electronic musician Dan Deacon has signed with Domino Recording Co. to release his new full-length album due out sometime in 2012. Well-known for his interactive live shows, Deacon has spent the last year performing across the country as a solo artist and in collaboration with So Percussion among other musicians. Deacon is also slated to score Francis Ford Coppola’s latest film, Twixt, starring Val Kilmer and Elle Fanning.

Not only is Deacon releasing a new LP and scoring Coppola’s film, but he has also announced tour dates spanning three continents. The tour will be a mix of solo shows and shows with the Dan Deacon Ensemble—a line-up that includes Denny Bowen (Double Dagger) on drums, Dave Jacober (Dope Body) on drums/mallets, Chester Gwazda (Nuclear Power Pants) on synths and Jordan Casey on synths as well.
