Dan Deacon, America, Dan Deacon AmericaDan Deacon will be releasing his long-awaited new album, America, later this summer, and he has just revealed the album cover. The image is a photo of Lake Placid, and upon pre-order of the CD, fans will receive a flag with the image on it and are encouraged to take part in the “Dan Deacon Winnable Flag Photo Contest.” Before October 1, Dan Deacon and his people are “looking for two undeniable images to use as the cover of a forthcoming Dan Deacon single as well as a limited run of posters in addition to a cash prize.” However, they do ask that you try to “avoid breaking the law and/or putting yourself in danger in pursuit of the ultimate photo.” More information can be found on Domino’s website.

Deacon will be playing shows across the globe starting this summer with a stripped-down version of his usual 14-piece behemoth of a band. Check out all of the tour dates below.
