Bass saxophonist Colin Stetson has just released his second solo album, New History Warfare Vol. 2: Judges, on Constellation. With the new album, Stetson created an original, experimental record that is sure to please fans and newcomers alike. In support of New History Warfare Vol. 2: Judges, Stetson will be taking his bass saxophone on the road from March through May for two separate tours.

The first of these tours will have Stetson playing a couple of headlining shows on the East Coast. The second tour, which starts in late April, is the Alone Together Tour, which includes Stetson, pianist Gregory Rogove and Arcade Fire violinist Sarah Neufeld. Each artist will perform solo on his or her respective instrument while exploring different compositional approaches. So you know, they’ll be alone, but together. The Alone Together Tour will consist of a handful of dates on the West Coast and in Canada.

Watch Stetson perform his saxophone magic on the track “Judges,” and check out both tours’ dates below.
