Jack of all (hard rock) trades, Clutch, has confirmed upcoming US tour dates opening for the Irish punk band, Flogging Molly. Though the rest of the tour leg has yet to be announced, the group will be playing a nine show run around the southern states in May. The tour is in support of the band’s upcoming album, Basket Of Eggs.


After debuting in 1990, the group has released over ten albums, EPs and live recordings, showing the band’s ability to change between musical genres—though most of it has stayed close to the hard rock neighborhood. Over 20 years of touring and playing has helped the band develop some strong stage chops and a large following to go with it. The group currently has a DVD out featuring a 90 minute headlining set and a backstage documentary of the band from the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C.
