Champion’s beating the drum for new and old school artists alike at CMJ this year. We’ll reach into the storied past at their official showcase, Friday, October 18, at New York’s Bowery Ballroom to bring back legends, The Long Winters.
This year marks the ten year anniversary of headliners, The Long Winters’ “When I Pretend to Fall,” which they will be performing in its entirety. It will also be the first NYC show by the full band in since 2004. Rising artists Eleanor Friedberger, Reuben and the Dark, Kan Wakan, Promised Land Sound, and Okta Logue will play in support.
Those unable to attend the event in person will be able to access a live-stream featuring select performances at CMJ.com/Champion-Live. The show will be broadcast live from the Bowery Ballroom by Radionomy.com. And head’s up, the first 50 people in the door will get a free Champion T-shirt, custom designed for the event.
