Bon Iver, the folk-soul band loved by hipsters and hippies alike, has announced a tour of North America to take place this summer. The tour kicks off on July 22 in Wisconsin, Justin Vernon’s home state, and includes two shows in New York City. Bon Iver’s new self-titled album comes out July 21.


Vernon will be supported on the tour by an eight-piece band. In addition to regular group members Sean Carey, Mike Noyce and Matt McCaughan, the ensemble will also feature a violin player and a horn section.
