Georgia metal outfit Baroness has announced that it will hit the road this summer. The North American dates are the band’s first since a scary bus accident last year in Bath, England, put it on indefinite hiatus. Following last week’s announcement that bassist Matt Maggioni and drummer Allen Blickle will no longer be touring with the band, the shows will feature newly added Nick Jost on bass and Sebastian Thomson on drums. In that statement, guitarist and singer John Baizley described the band additions as “two musicians who can approach our music with passion and vitality and help get us back out on tour to finish what was seemingly cut short last August.”

The Yellow And Green tour will kick off May 24 in Philadelphia at Union Transfer. Throughout the summer, Baroness will also make previously announced stops at Chaos In Tejas, Bonnaroo and now also at Lollapalooza, according to today’s lineup reveal.
