Altpress.com has confirmed that post-hardcore band At The Drive-In will be reuniting after an 11-year hiatus. To show it’s for serious about this reunion, the group has launched a new website and Twitter account.

As of now, both Web presences are there just to announce the band’s comeback, while also commenting that “this station is now operational,” a play off of the band’s 2005 compilation album, This Station Is Non-Operational. Get it? They’re back.

At The Drive-In broke up in 2001 indefinitely for reasons that ranged from creative differences to just plain exhaustion. The breakup occurred while the band was at the apex of its success. Members went on to form bands such as the Mars Volta and Sparta.
