Four-piece 8-bit heroes Anamanaguchi, known for scoring world-saving music for Scott Pilgrim, have announced a US tour with Japanese comic book punks Peelander-Z beginning in March, following the release of a 7-inch. The Airbrushed 7-inch will be the first in a series of physical 7-inch releases for the group, with the first installment due out March 8 via Insound.



The upcoming releases feature 3D covers, with only 300 of each copy being printed. Using a “hacked NES system” along with guitars and drums, the Brooklyn-based group creates music fit for a frantic video game, as heard on their 2009 release Dawn Metropolis and the soundtrack to Scott Pilgrim Vs. Anamanaguchi’s US tour begins on March 3 with Ra Ra Riot, and continues to the end of April.
